Amanda Phillips earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with Honors from Purdue University in 2006. In 2008 she completed her BCaBA coursework through the Florida Institute of Technology. She then went on to receive her Masters and to complete her BCBA coursework at Ball State University with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2010. Amanda has presented her research at the Hoosier Association for Applied Behavior Analysis Conference and has been mentored by many distinguished PhDs in the field of ABA. Her experiences are mainly from the age group of children and young adults ages 2-20. She has experience in developing adaptive skill goals for young adults/adults as well as training them in social skills. Throughout the years, she has worked in school settings, homes, and clinical settings. She prides herself in her ability and success in transitioning children from one on one ABA therapy to their general education classrooms. Amanda is also a certified Safety Care Specialist and has been a valued team member at D.A.S.I. since 2014. Amanda is married and has 2 children. She loves to cook, shop through thrift and antique stores, and watch reality shows. She also enjoys art history and once won a statewide Rock Paper Scissors championship.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality ABA Therapy and supporting Speech Therapy services to children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism in their natural environments. We work closely with parents, family members, educators, and behavioral staff to provide training and support in order to make the most significant impact for the individuals we serve. Utilize the most effective research-based behavior interventions and specialize in maximizing learning opportunities and outcomes.
