Sara Litmer, MS, CCC-SLP, BCABA earned her Bachelor of Art degree in Pre-Professional Speech Language Pathology from Indiana University and her Master of Science degree at Indiana State University in Communication Disorders. Additionally, Sara is certified as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA). Sara has over 11 years of experience in the field of speech and language pathology and 10 years experience in ABA, in a variety of settings including public and private schools, hospitals, clinics, and homes. Sara specializes in speech therapy for the pediatric population and also brings to the table a behavioral background with over five years experience as a behavioral therapist and two years as an independent behavioral consultant. She has worked intensively with Carl Sundberg Ph.D., BCBA-D, Gwen Dwiggins Ph.D., BCBA-D, and Janet Rumple J.D.,Ph.D. Sara is dedicated to providing quality speech and language therapy utilizing a verbal behavior approach for children and adolescents diagnosed with speech and language disabilities. Sara is also a certified Safety Care Specialist. Sara enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, running, caring for her animal friends, and learning valuable daily lessons from her two young sons. She has been a valued team member at D.A.S.I. since 2012.
