A Behavior Technician plays a crucial role in supporting children on the Autism Spectrum who require additional assistance in their developmental journey, using playful therapy sessions to spark curiosity and make learning fun. Behavior Technician Candidate Qualifications Include:

• Background in supporting a child’s development is highly desirable; teaching, childcare, healthcare
• Must be self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic, adaptable and caring
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Reliable attendance and excellent time management
• Applicants must hold a minimum of a High School Diploma
• Consent to a criminal background check

ABA Therapy Behavior Technician Responsibilities Include:

• Playful therapy sessions to provide individualized treatment for children with Autism
• Collect data related to treatment plan goals unique to the needs of each child in order to track progress and response to treatment
• Utilize organizational skills to maintain data collection and required daily medical (therapy) records
• Collaborate with a diverse, yet like minded, ABA therapy team to ensure quality therapy services
• Ability to physically engage with children; kneeling, bending and lifting when necessary
