Disability & Autism Services of Indiana (DASI) is seeking hard working, positive team members to implement programs for children on the Autism spectrum using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. We provide on the job training in Applied Behavior Analysis, as well as, classroom and online coursework. A Behavior Technician is a unique and demanding position that requires a diverse set of skills to really thrive in the role, and our goal is to attract and retain the best people as we recognize this is essential to our growth and success. Candidates should be interested in working within a home, clinic and/or community-based model. Training in Applied Behavior Analysis will be provided. All qualified applicants will be kept on file for six months.
Locations:
- Central and Southeastern Indiana
Responsibilities:
- Work 1 on 1 with children on the Autism Spectrum
- Utilize organizational skills to maintain data collection and daily record keeping
- Build rapport and maintain strong communication with team and client’s family
- Teach short and long term goals and targets
- Collect data related to treatment plan goals
- Collaborate with a diverse team including Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Educators and Parents
Qualifications:
- Candidates must love working with children (experience preferred), be self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic, patient, caring and compassionate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and excellent time management
- Comfort in a virtual work place and flexible work schedules
- Applicants must hold a minimum of a High School Diploma, although college coursework is preferred
- Have a safe driving record for the previous five years
- Consent to a criminal background check
- Additional screening may be required

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team! A career at DASI Kids is a unique and rewarding opportunity unlike any other. You will have the opportunity to provide individualized treatment to a small client caseload with weekly or bi-weekly therapy visits in a state-of-the-art therapeutic facility. Our Autism Center includes a large sensory room dedicated solely to Occupational Therapy services, an abundance of sensory equipment and materials, and a gymnasium.
Our Occupational Therapy services are provided in collaboration with a team of professionals with the common goal of achieving short and long term goals for children on the Autism spectrum. With over 75 years combined experience, our compassionate and qualified team provides scientifically proven treatment and specialized care to help each child become the best version of themselves.
