About DASI Kids

At DASI Kids, our mission is to cultivate a community of growth where compassionate care and clinical excellence meet. Through our devotion to Empower, Teach and Commit, we provide a transparent, family-centered ABA experience. We are dedicated to planting the roots of independence for every unique child we serve, equipping them with the essential developmental and social skills needed to confidently transition to the classroom and beyond.

Founded in 2008, DASI Kids features a safe, sensory-rich Autism Center and Early Intervention Center in Greensburg. We treat our clients like family and our team like our greatest asset – fostering a fun, collaborative environment where people truly want to spend their time.

Why This Isn’t Your Typical Job

At DASI Kids, you will follow the child’s lead. You’ll dive into what each child is naturally into (their favorite toys, games, and activities) and use those moments as the perfect chance to teach new skills. We ditch the artificial rewards. Instead, you’ll use genuine high-fives, excitement and the opportunity to keep playing with you as the best way to encourage great behavior.

If you’re passionate about helping kids grow into independent individuals without trying to change their awesome, unique selves, you’ll fit right in.

What You Will Do:

  • Spark Curiosity: Run playful, individualized therapy sessions that make learning fun.
  • Follow the Lead: Play games and use the child’s natural interests to teach essential social, classroom, and self-help skills.
  • Track Progress: Collect data and maintain daily records to track how beautifully your client is progressing toward their “graduation” goals.
  • Collaborate: Partner closely with your Leadership Team to ensure the highest quality of care.

How We Invest in You (Our Culture)

DASI Kids is more than just a center; it is a community-rooted ecosystem built on the idea that both the child and the clinician need a nurturing environment to bloom. Inspired by the daisy flower, everything we do is focused on planting roots, building a strong foundation and growing together.

We elevate our team by practicing three critical actions every single day to ensure you flourish:

  • Empower: We believe in your potential. We empower you with a supportive, fun and transparent team environment where your unique voice, creativity and energy are celebrated. You aren’t just running a program; you are actively shaping a child’s future.
  • Teach: Your growth is our growth. We ditch the rigid textbooks and surround you with experienced mentors who are committed to teaching you the art of compassionate, playful therapy. We invest in your continuous professional development from day one.
  • Commit: We are fiercely committed to a culture of shared values, shared laughter and authentic connection. We celebrate our shared journey with energetic traditions throughout the year, including Team Appreciation Week (March), Walk For A Cause (April), Spirit Week (October) and our energetic annual All-Team Training!

Who We Are Looking For:

  • The Background: Experience supporting a child’s development is highly desirable (childcare, preschool settings, teaching, camps or healthcare).
  • The Traits: You must be self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic, adaptable and genuinely caring.
  • The Essentials: Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent), reliable attendance, excellent time management and consent to a criminal background check.
  • The Physical Stuff: Ability to physically engage with active children, including kneeling, bending, playing on the floor and lifting when necessary.

What We Offer (Our Benefits):

  • Competitive Pay: Based on your experience and education, plus wage increases upon training completions.
  • Predictable Hours: Guaranteed Monday – Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Invested Retirement: Individual Retirement Account (IRA) with a 3% company match.
  • Comprehensive Care: Fully sponsored $50,000 Life Insurance policy (zero cost to you) and Aflac Supplemental Insurance.
  • Time to Recharge: Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Personal Time.
  • Continuous Learning: Tuition Reimbursement and a work-from-home continuing education allowance.

Founded in 2008, DASI Kids has grown into a state-of-the-art campus in Greensburg, featuring a safe, sensory-rich Autism Center and Early Intervention Center. We treat our clients like family and our team like our greatest asset – fostering a fun, collaborative environment where people truly want to spend their time.

The Role: Program Assistant & RBT Mentor

At DASI Kids, we believe true clinical leadership happens on the floor, in the moment, alongside our kids and our staff. Working under the close supervision and mentorship of a DASI Program Supervisor (BCBA), the Program Assistant (PA) bridges the gap between clinical programming and daily execution.

A massive part of your impact in this role will be training and mentoring our RBTs. You will be right there with them during direct care, utilizing your advanced skills to model expectations and provide real-time, on-the-floor coaching. To thrive here, you must be able to read a Program Supervisor’s treatment plan as written, understand its clinical intent and effectively teach an RBT how to run it flawlessly.

A Critical Note on Our Treatment Model: What sets DASI Kids apart is our deeply collaborative, family-centered approach. To be successful in this position, you must love working directly with children. We do not practice “behind a desk.” Regardless of certification level, every leader at DASI Kids regularly provides direct, hands-on therapy to our clients. We believe that leading by example and maintaining a strong direct-care connection is essential to helping our staff flourish and our clients reach their graduation goals.

We embody three critical actions to ensure your professional success:

  • Empower: We give you the hands-on leadership opportunities, autonomy, and resources to thrive and set new professional milestones.
  • Teach: We surround you with experienced practitioners (built on over 75 years of combined experience) to foster continuous personal and clinical growth.
  • Commit: We are fiercely committed to a transparent, shared-value culture that rewards your dedication with a fun, collaborative and supportive daily environment.

Previous Experience for Success:

To hit the ground running in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Clinical Comprehension: Experience reading, interpreting, and accurately implementing structured ABA protocols and treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
  • On-the-Floor Coaching: Proven experience providing constructive, in-the-moment feedback to trainees in a supportive, encouraging manner.
  • A Mentorship Mindset: A history of helping peers or newer RBTs flourish, take pride in their work, and maintain high clinical standards.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

  • Credentials: An experienced Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • The Heart & Passion: A profound understanding that every child is irreplaceable, paired with a genuine desire to be hands-on in the clinic while actively mentoring the team.
  • The Mindset: A growth mindset that embraces setting new goals upon fulfilling achievements.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take direction from a supervising BCBA, while confidently modeling excellent clinical skills for behavior technicians.

What We Offer (Our Benefits):

We are fiercely committed to a transparent, shared-value culture that rewards your dedication. When you join the DASI Kids family, you receive:

  • Financial Peace of Mind: Competitive salary based on experience and education, plus an annual bonus.
  • Invested Retirement: Individual Retirement Account (IRA) with a 3% company match.
  • Comprehensive Care: $50,000 Life Insurance (at zero cost to you!) and Aflac Supplemental Insurance.
  • Work-Life Balance: Predictable Monday – Friday (8 AM – 4 PM) schedule with Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Career Growth: Generous professional development stipend and Tuition Reimbursement to help you develop your clinical career.
  • A Team That Feels Like Family: We work hard, but we celebrate even harder! You’ll get to participate in our energetic, creative team events throughout the year, including Team Appreciation Week (March), Walk For A Cause (April), Spirit Week (October), Sensory Santa (December), and our incredibly collaborative annual All-Team Training.
